DAVE’S GOOD FORM RUNNING
Developed by Curt Munson, John Benedict and 2014 Olympic runner Grant Robison, Good Form Running is a running technique focused on simplicity to help you get faster, go farther and feel better while reducing the risk of injury. You’ll learn the four basics of Good Form Running: posture, foot strike, cadence and lean — plus practical drills to help you perfect your own form. It’s the final product from years of teaching clinics, education, philosophies and trial and error.

SPRING MIT PROGRAM
January thru April
Dave’s is proud to be the official training program of the Mercy Health Glass City Marathon (GCM). Your personalized training plan will begin in January and have you fully prepared for a great marathon, or half-marathon experience.
While targeted for Toledo’s GCM, this program will coincide perfectly with other spring marathons including Cleveland, Flying Pig and Boston Marathons.
FALL MIT PROGRAM
August thru October
Dave’s Fall Marathon In-Training program is the best way to prepare for popular marathons like Detroit, Columbus, Chicago and Akron marathons. Modifications are also offered if you’re training for the Churchill’s and/or Monroe half marathons.

5K THE DAVE’S WAY

There is no better way to set a new personal record at the 5k (3.1 mile) distance than one of our eight week training programs. With each program, you will receive a coupon book full of in-store discounts, a Dave’s Running training shirt, a comprehensive 8 week training plan, and group emails filled with training information and motivational tips. That’s in addition to twice-weekly organized group workouts, clinics, guest speakers and the dedicated team of Dave’s Coaches.
The First Timer
If you’re new to running, looking to transition from walking or just complete your first 5k race, this program is for you. Dave’s Coaches will get you from the couch to 5k finish line with a detailed 8 week plan that gradually builds you from walking to running.
The Weekend Warrior
For those who have experience with running a 5k, but have dreams of running faster and want help on how to achieve it, this Dave’s program will build upon your base. Our Coaches will motivate you within a detailed training program and fun atmosphere.
The Sub 20:00 5k
Do you dream of running a Gold Standard, sub-20 minute 5k? This program will push and encourage you to your fastest pace yet, while having a lot of fun getting there. We’ll put you in the appropriate group to get you to the finish line with your new goal.

DAVE’S KIDS — RUNNING CAMP
Dave’s Kids Camp is a 6 week summer program beginning July. We will meet every Monday & Wednesday from 10:30am to 11:30am at Side Cut Metropark, near the children’s playground each time. Cost is $30.00 per kid and includes a healthy snack after each workout, and a shirt at the start of the program.
Dave’s coaches and staff are present to make sure that all kids are part of a safe, enjoyable, and educational event. The Camp is for 1st through 6th graders, girls and boys, and emphasizes running form, core strength, basic healthy nutrition, hydration and simple body physiology.
The Camp will culminate with a kids only race in mid-August. Distances will vary based on age and range from 1k to 5k.
