Experience a soft feel underfoot with the GEL-CUMULUS™ 27. This neutral everyday trainer is a versatile choice for various running workouts and distances. FF BLAST™ PLUS cushioning and PureGEL™ technology are strategically positioned in the midsole. These materials help create softer landings and a more energized toe-off during your training. Additionally, the FLUIDRIDE™ outsole helps create smoother transitions between strides. FF BLAST™ PLUS technology cushioning provides lightweight impact absorption and a responsive rebound. PureGEL™ technology helps provide lightweight cushioning and softer landings.

Specifications:

Category: Neutral daily training running shoe
Weight: 9.3 oz / 265 g (Men's US size 9)
Heel-to-Toe Drop: 8 mm
Stack Height: 38.5 mm (heel) / 30.5 mm (forefoot)
Available Widths: Regular (D), Wide (2E), Extra-Wide (4E)
Midsole: FF BLAST™ PLUS foam providing lightweight impact absorption and a responsive rebound.
Cushioning: PureGEL™ technology embedded in the heel for softer landings and shock absorption.
Outsole: FLUIDRIDE™ / rubberized EVA blend outsole designed for smooth heel-to-toe transitions and durability.
Upper: Breathable engineered jacquard mesh with a thin, padded gusseted tongue and a convenient knit heel pull tab.
Insole: OrthoLite™ X-30 sockliner for step-in comfort.

Fit Notes:

True-to-Size Length: Most testers and reviewers find that ordering your standard running shoe size provides the best fit.
Toe Box Width: The standard (Regular / D) version has a slightly narrow or streamlined toe box. Runners with wider feet may experience a lateral squeeze and should look for the 2E Wide or 4E Extra-Wide options available for men.
Upper & Tongue: Features an engineered mesh upper, extra collar and heel padding, and a structured tongue that securely cradles the Achilles tendon without causing irritation.
Arch & Midfoot: Offers a accommodating midfoot volume that works well for neutral runners and those with moderate-to-high arches.
Width Options: Available in standard (D), Wide (2E), and Extra-Wide (4E) for men.

Best For:

Daily Training & Easy Miles: Designed for smooth, consistent, low-to-moderate paces (Zone 1 to 4) where comfort and foot protection matter more than top-end speed.
Beginner Runners: Offers a forgiving ride, a traditional lower-curved forefoot feel, and solid cushioning right out of the box.
Long & Recovery Runs: Features an 8mm drop with 38.5 mm in the heel and 30.5 mm in the forefoot (FF Blast+ midsole and PureGEL in the heel) to absorb impact over longer distances.
All-Around Casual Use: Good for people who want a single comfortable pair for walking, light gym sessions, and daily wear.
